Polio is a disease that affects the muscles and nervesin the body. Polio can weaken muscles and damage nerves. In some cases you could be paralyzed in your arms,legs, or both. Luckily only 2% of all cases of polio result in paralysis. Any other cases of polio are extremely mild.
